Christmas Reflections 2013

It's been a crazy year. From story-telling to two month layoffs, this has definitely been the growing season. I lived through my longest layoff and am shocked to now be working 9-5. Goodbye retail. I found myself submerged in others' brokenness and learned to heal from my own. Hard things bring hard head. Strength in the best places for the most purposeful of ways. Ezekiel 2. More than anything, I'm thankful for the people who have entered my life this year and the deepening friendships, both online and real. I'm overwhelmed and grateful to be spending this Christmas with my family for the first time since 2007. The trees are taller, the house is smaller and I've finally broken into that lovely phase where you know how to phrase what you want to say. It's been a rewarding year of blogging. I don't have analytics installed so while I'm not famous I am grateful that sharing my heart has been meaningful to the few who mention it. I will continue blogging here as I find things to say and starting in the new year I will be posting at StoriesofAlberian.com on the first of each month. I hope you enjoy.

Prayers and blessings for you as you spend this holiday season far or near from those you love.

Merry Christmas,

~Meg
